Ive had Comcast Cable internet for a few weeks now. Ive heard and read about the "Power Boost" that is supposed to be included with my service the 6mb package. I chose the self install, but How do I enable the Power boost? Is it a seperate download? And how do I know that power boost is even functioning?? Ive also been looking for Firmware updates for my Comcast cable modem with no luck. Certainley there are firmware updates out there?? I would just like to get the Power Boost that is supposedly part of my package, but as far as I can tell from all my downloading there really isnt any so called "Power Boost" that ive noticed??? What am I missing here??
I did have Qwests 4mb Dsl previously and I havent noticed much of a Speed increase with the Comcast 6mb service??? I may have to bite the bullet and call Customer Service!!!!
regarding the "Powerboos" witch I obviously am confused about!!! Any suggestions?? Thanks
