I was at my friends house, and he had a neighbour kid who would conveniently be out on his porch with his lappy everytime we noticed a spike in activity on his network.

We would block his IP address and then look at him outside, he'd slap the keyboard and have that "omg why is my stolen internet broken" look on his face.

Then eventually we just told his parents, and they had no idea what we were talking about... so we just made an analogy to shoplifting and the kid got his laptop taken away
