Verizon DSL
Apparently, Verizon is paying for this site. My personal experience has been very different than is promoted here. Take Reliability as an example, it says on the broadbandinfor site that Verizon "DSL also offers an “always on” connection, so there is no need to wait for the connection to be established every time you want to use the Internet. " while Comcast "you never tie up a line, get disconnected, or have to wait to get connected using Comcast high speed Internet". And the error "Cannot get an IP Address from the PPPoE Server", and the Ready Light are a constant reminder that I have no reliable internet service. Calling customer support is equally as frustrating because while waiting in the phone queue for what seems like forever, the poor router can finally make a connection and synch up. So, by the time the support people "test the line" the connection is good. Verizon is a nightmare. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
