If you are using cable, I wouldn't recommend satellite. It is not a very good alternative IMO. High latency rates, small FAP buckets, and it seems like the connection goes out a lot.
It is definitely great if it is your only option, like me, but don't go for it unless you have to.
Just my own opinion of course.
