d/c'd... what to do?

I have sbc dsl and my 2wire home portal has been disconnecting a ton the last month with a blinking orange light. Sometimes it's 6-7 times an hour. I've had this router for 5+ years. Is it an sbc issue or a router issue? It connects after anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. It's super annoying.

Any thoughts is much appreciated.

i have this too and it bugs the hell out of me. i have the 2wire also. i plugged mine into another phone jack and surprise, its way faster with no disconnects. Im really confused on this one. Why would it happen only in my room because this problem is soooo common. I don't know where to start.
