Directions for AT&T Yahoo modem reset

For reference, here are directions on how to reset your dsl modem for AT&T Yahoo (sbc) DSL subscribers:

1. Unplug the AC cord at the back of the modem.
2. Shut down the computer (NOT a re-start)
3. Wait 10 seconds and then plug the modem back in.
4. When the DSL lights to turn green, turn on the computer

If you are using a router to connect, you will need to follow these steps to do a reset:

1. Shut down the computer (NOT a re-start)
2. Unplug the AC cords at the back of your modem.
3. Unplug the power cord from the back of your router.
4. Wait 20-30 seconds and then plug the modem cord back in.
5. After the lights stop blinking and the power & dsl lights become solid, plug the router cord back in.
6. After the router and all of the DSL modem lights turn on, go ahead and turn on your computer and your modem should be reset.
