Default Loosing connection after standby

Hi,

This is my first post. I have been a DSL user for a few years and really don't have many problems with it. Lately, after a complete Win XP reinstall, I have a problem with continues to nag me, here it is. I use the standby function on my desktop PC several times during the day. Each time I come back, I have to open the SBC connection manager and hit refresh. What is really strange to me is when I first open the connection manager, it shows me that everything is working then, a few seconds later, it disconnects. I have to then hit refresh to get it to connect again. This doesn't make sense to me because for a while during the process of reinstalling XP (and all the updates), I lost the ability to have my DSL connection always connected when returning from standby.

Granted, a minor issue compared to some, but still an un-necessary hassle.

Help on this would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

ItsKeith
