Unhappy Please HELP with installing ATT dsl

So im trying to install the dsl I ordered a couple of days ago which should be active now. I currently have wireless dlink (actual card inside computer box). I connected everything to where it belongs ... actually, there is no phone jack in the computer room so I bought a connector and bought a regular telephone wire (like the green dsl one that att gave me) and I just used that to connect it to the nearest wall jack.

The DSL modem is solid on "power" and "ethernet" but blinks green on DSL and sometimes stays solid red for a bit. Whats wrong here? I really need to get this up and running! Someone has the answer out there ... I feel so blonde right now.

Is it because I have to take the dlink wireless card out? or is it the stupid phone wire and connector?

HELPPPP !!!

I ALREADY TRYED calling customer service ... they put me on hold for so longggg!!! and I have a 7 month old son so I cant wait forever ....

were you able to fix this? a blinking DSL light means that the signals are still provisioned. well, the only way to fix this is to call technical support so they can check the status of your installed DSL service.

if the cable that you bought is more than 15 meters long, the DSL signals would be having a hard time reaching your modem.
