Default What the heck? (Torrents, AIM, certain sites)

My friend just recently got ATT yahoo dsl service, and for whatever reason, it seems he can not use uttorrent (ports can't be forwarded, he's only using the modem that came with it) and it won't allow him to go to this:

And i really don't know why.
I went into the modem and tried it both with public IP and private IP and neither worked.... *sigh*. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

What type of modem does he have? Also is it a modem/router combined?

that depends. if your friend is using a router, he/she might need to have that configured.

he is not alone. I am now running the netOpia modem/gateway from ATT.

Its a bit hard to configure. I myself am still trying to figure out why some ports just wont forward.
