What kind of connection did you have before cable? I had 56k for 6 years of my life. I was kind of sad when it went, UNTIL CABLE STARTED TO WORK!! It was a great change IMO.

Had 56k for a while, got rid of it, then got cable.

I would think just about everyone had dial up before they went to cable. I know I did.

I started out with dialup through AOL. I don't believe it was even 56K when I first got it. It was just plain slow in the beginning.

Before Cable, I was using 56K dialup. After years of dealing with the snail pace, I could take it no longer.
