Default When did you first try Cable?

I first got my Cable internet in 2003. It was my first computer and my first internet. I liked it a lot. Then there was a period when my Cable Company just shut down, so I went to Dial-Up for a bit. But luckily the Cable is back up

I got mine 2 months ago, after 6 years of dial-up. I have to say I am happy I made the change .

I jumped on cable the first time is was offered in my area. I just couldn't stand dial up, and anything better was gold.

Was 2002 the first year it was offered, or did you wait a while to get it?

I got it as soon as it became available. Don't know exactly when, must've been around 2000 or 2001.

My work and friends house have had broadband for awhile now, and I was impressed but would always say "I don't see the need to buy that service." Then I spent a week at my buddy's house while we had work done on the house and as soon as I got back to dial up I've been banging my head against the desk becuase it's slow

I don't blame you. I'd bang my head against the wall if I had to go back to dial-up too. I've had cable for about 5 years now. I don't know how I ever survived without it.

I got it a few years ago, don't exactly remember when. I just got tired of taking forever to download anything, so I decided to add some speed to my connection.

About 4 months ago, but when I am strapped for cash, I lose it again.
