Default Comcast needs competition!

I have Comcast. It's the only high speed option in my area. I do NOT consider dsl high speed... lol

I only have them because I have no other choice though. If there was another cable provider available, I'd probably jump off this bandwagon faster than I looked where I was going.

The price is expensive, their customer service is atrocious about half the time, the other half the time the people are nice enough but still not very capable of answering the questions asked them.

So anyway, Hi! Welcome me to the forum. I can't wait to gripe some more

Heh, I completely agree...believe me! They are the only cable company in my area as well. The price is too damn high, and it'll probably only continue to rise. And the worst part is, Comcast continues to land-grab. With the stranglehold they have, I may NEVER see other companies in my area. satellite is way too expensive, and DSL is too slow.So yeah...no choices

I swear I had heard a while ago that verizon was laying fiberoptic around the country. I've been waiting and waiting! I am stuck with comcast too. It must be nice to know you have all your customers cause they have no other choice.

Same deal as everyone else here. Comcast is the only company in my area too

Oh well, we can only hope things will improve in the future somehow. On the brightside, prices on T3 should keep dropping!

Angry Comcast needs competition

Fiber optics is so 20th century. Satelites and wireless are now! Its the NCTA and the lobbyists that controls competition or if there's room for other intrants. COMCAST SUCKS! and will continue to do so until a competitor challenges them where it hurts-by providing an alternative and better service.
