I am not currently a Comcast customer. Want to sign on for high speed internet only and want to take advantage of the online offers, but don't even have the cable from the pole to my location. How do I get service and then take advantage of the offers all at once?

I may be wrong, but I was always under the impression that you had to be a cable (TV) customer to be eligible for the internet service. I'm not sure you can get just internet. You said you don't have the cable from the poll to your location, can you get the cable to your location or are you in a rural area that the cable hasn't reached yet? I'd call up comcast and ask them some questions. They may have specials they can offer you, as a new customer, that just aren't widely publicized. Call them up, it's worth a shot.

If you get Comcast, they're going to have to run a cable to your house, regardless of if you get the cable service.
You use satelitte, or just old school? |

Is Comcast the only service offered in your area? If not, you should check out the prices of the other services as well, so you get the best deal.
