Default OT: Email relaying
Please forgive the non-broadband aspect of this question.

A non-profit I work with has been having SMTP problems with their email/website host who suggested using COVAD (the non-profit's ISP) email relaying for sending emails.

This is permissible according to COVAD but they do not say what port to use.

Does anyone here know?

All SMTP runs of off port 25. Thats the only port is uses, which would explain why they didn't tell you what port to use.

Why is that? I have business dsl and I'm having the same issues?
