I got tds As my Telco, and all I can say is they should suck my bells
because, they did many mean things
I live in a somewhat rural neighborhood and before I moved I had SBC (ATT) and when I found out I couldn't get them I was like dang, but like 5 months ago they said they were putting in equipment and by nov. I should have full speed DSL ,2 months later I call in to check up and they say they have no planned construction and than 1 month later I called and they said they were finalizing claims to start installing and to call 4 weeks later and, they have they tended to turn my phone off and other junk

will I ever get DSL ,is their a way to speed this up
any other option for 3k+
and if they get their new copper and such in can I get like sonic or speakeasy instead of their DSL ,because they only have 3 meg and sonic has 6 meg for have the price and that would be nice and unlimited dial-up for traveling

I have tried clearwire, cable, satellite is to expensive

thanks, sorry if there are missing space my laptop space bar is funny and 'I'm gettin used to it

It could be worse. I used to have ATT Yahoo DSL. Man it was sweet. Then we moved and we can't get nothing. No DSL, or Cable. Only Dial-up. I had Hughesnet for awhile but I can't justify paying that much for something so slow. Not to mention the FAP thing they have. I live 2 miles from the local Central Switch and the phone man said we would probably never get DSL. Our local cable provider is Time Warner and we do not have a line running to our house or down our road and they said we will never have one because they were not going to run us one. That leaves me on Dial-up. Right now I am connected at 26.4K and I have never seen it faster than that and my modem is a 56k modem. Takes around 1 hour plus to download a song. Sometime not even 1.00KB/s baud rates.

I may try the Sprint USB Modem soon. I may not get DSL speeds but I would be frilled to get like 300-400k

Maybe one day I will get DSL again.

lol a sprint usb modem whodnt give you 300-400kbps if it is dial up do you mean cellular modem? try clearwire as long as you dont use p2p or host a website expect 1.2-1.4mbps or if not idsn or idsl if you can lol

yea i probaly will never get dsl cuz neightborhood so small but we can always hope , maybe clearwire ,cable aint gonna save the day ethir unless they offer only high-speed and not tv services as they dont give cable tv where i live .

satlleite is expensive , how fast are the cellular internet i can get a "dock"ish router thing that plugs the modem in and put an antenna on the roof and it acts as a router and lets mutiple peole on , but it whould be crappy if you cant get at least 1.5 mbps

According to clearwire's website they can't validate my address so I guess this means it is unavailable to me.

The thought of no High Speed internet just makes me want to move back into our old house.
