wireless setup using actiontec GT704

Hello: My actiontec modem (router) went bad and I just received a new one (same kind)
I installed it on my first pc but I want to use the wireless adapter on my second pc (its a zyxel)
Now want I want to this, I had the wireless adaptor on my second pc before, what do I do first? Do I have to first uninstall anything on this second pc or do I just hook up the Zyxel wireless adaptor and it will pick up where it left off? Thanks, Ps, I am using xp home OEM by HP
