...and it was not a good experience for me. If it was any indication of how earthlink's software works, then I think I'll pass. Maybe it was just because it was dialup, but it was pretty bad.

I know of few people who are or were happy with Earthlink.

With the dialup or the dsl version of Earthlink? I don't really know anyone that has the DSL version, but we weren't happy with the dialup. I know dialup is slow, there is no way around that, but this was just painfully slow. Type in a URL.... go have dinner, do the dishes, take a shower, blow dry your hair, and get back just in time for the page to load. Okay....... maybe I'm exagerating just a little, but it was almost that bad.

Been a long time since I used Earthlink and when I did it was only on Dialup.

I think the only dial-up I was ever even remotely happy with was AOL. I know, most people think AOL is just awful, and I pretty much agree now, but when I first got online I loved AOL. But you shoulda seen the bills way back then.
