I have never heard anything good about EarthLink DSL or dial up. Is it really that bad?

For us, the dialup was pretty bad. But reading some of the other posts here it sounds like there are some that have had no problem with EarthLink. It's probably one of those things that you're just going to have to try and form your own opinion. All computers (and their owners) are different, so who's to tell you what you're going to like? Good luck if you decide to try it.

All depends on what you want to do. If you are only into the occassional surfing and getting your email then I guess dialup would work, but if you spend any real amount of time online then going highspeed is the way to go.
