Got Digital phone...now problems-help!!!

I just had digital phone installed on 12-22. They brought a new modem and I'm not having any trouble with the phone. My problem is since then my cable internet is not working. I have a SMC router and was told by one person at Comcast that the problem was in the router, that it was not compatible. Does anyone out there know??? Do I need to upgrade? I do not get any messages in Explorer telling me anything is wrong, only a blank page. It acts like it is loading but no web page content every loads and it shows that it's done loading.

HELP!!!!
