I was looking at Lingo website and saw that it's only $21.95 a month. That's a great deal for phone. It's cheaper than the cable company charges. But I'm wondering if they'll be quick to raise the rates once a lot of people are signed up. But anyway, it's worth checking out.

Vonage is only slightly more expensive (like $3+ more or something), and is more established.
I've never heard anything about lingo at the other forums I frequent, but Vonage has gotten good reviews. |

Yeah, I'd go the extra 3 bucks and try vontage. I've heard good things about them, but I've never heard of Lingo. But I guess somebody has to try it and recommend it before you can start hearing good (or bad) things about any new service. So, go ahead and give it a shot then you can let all of us know what you think.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was just curious if anyone ever tried lingo and if they were satisfied with the service?

I've never tried them but their prices look reasonable

Yup, I'm all about some Vonage. They have the best customer service, and great pricing. Still 10 bucks less than your cable company. And they are an established company.
