My name is Alec and I stumbled across this forum.

I am on Direcway right now and the contract is coming to a close. I wanted to discuss other options and hopefully figure out which is the best service for me.

Price doesn't concern me that much. It is more about usability. Problem is, I am up in no-man's-land, so my options are limited.

I cant say ive heard of directway or hughesnet, is it DSL or cable? or what?

They are satellite internet services. Directway and Hughesnet are the only ones I know of.
