_Free Version of Phone across Broadband Access, to your PC, for all 2007_
We're working with Adondo Corporation, on their new Call Your Own PC interface. If anyone's interested in pretty "cutting edge" applications, Adondo's released a Lite version of Personal Audio Link (PAL) that is *free for all of 2007. PAL gives your PC a telephone number; you can call your PC to handle Outlook email or get other information (below) from any phone or cell phone, across an included broadband VoIP connection, back to your own PC .. With this technology, users get everyday-type usable features, using DTMF touch tones or simple voice commands, like 1. Hear emails, reply to emails, file emails, create_&_dictate emails 2. Get instant traffic reports, (and change your location on the fly), 3. Get real-time weather forecasts for your zip code (change your location on the fly) 4. Listen to podcasts, blogs, RSS feeds, favorite news pages, etc. 5. Get, e.g. phone numbers, addresses etc. for any Outlook contact you may not happen to have with you then 6. Get Outlook appointment reminder calls, notices of new emails from "Hot Contacts", wake-up calls, etc.; and all these features can be had from any regular phone or cell phone As mentioned, the Lite version is free for all of 2007. { The standard Edition is $4.99 month, the Professional Edition is $9.99 a month.} The program and all it's features can be seen at http://www.adondo.net/adondo-pal-features.aspx (contact me directly for details or questions - Bill Burke, speechcontrols_@_cfl.rr.com ) |
