Going from a T1 to sat. is just trying out something different. How many dsl and cable users wouldn't love to have T1?

Sat is awesome for those in the land of dial up or is a solution for some people in a state of war with land based companies for one reason or the other but I think their are inherrent issues with latency and space on satelittes that only future tech can improve or resolve.

You can't expect a train to compare with a plane as far as speed to cost ratio. If you have realistic expectations sat will meet them, if not like anything else you'll be disappointed.
