verizon michigan booooo!

i live within the range of verizon dsl.but seeing they are not willing to upgrade there lines in this area(michigan) i cannot get there service.
go to indiana and they have fiber optics right to there door in most area's
so i am stuck with dial up

anyone else like verizon as much as i do?
