Default Vonage losing money

Quote:
- Internet phone company Vonage Holdings Corp. (VG.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Tuesday reported a wider net loss for the second quarter as it spent heavily to market its Web-based calling service.

Vonage, whose shares have lost more than half their value since going public in May, said its loss widened by 16.5 percent to $74.1 million, or $1.16 per share. The company's loss in the same quarter a year ago was $63.6 million.

If vonage goes out of buisness, it may deal a shock to the voip community that it can't recover from.

I hope this doesnt do what you've predicted Ted, because I honestly feel that voip is the future of communications in the phone buisness.

They'll probably just do a rate increase. Seems like that's what all businesses do. If they have financial problems they pass them on to their customers. I doubt they'll go out of business.

If they're losing money, it's probably because they've spent it all on advertising. You can't watch TV for 5 minutes without seeing their commercial with their irritating theme song.

I hade Vonage for over 2 years till I can across viatalk. they are running a special right now for 2 years for $199

this is a savings from VONAGE of about $500

I could not pass it up. Check it out

It has all the sane features as VONAGE. JUST BETTER
